Credo.
I overheard a tearful conversation between a couple friends at the funeral. It’s something that I won’t forget anytime soon.
“It takes everything you have to love someone. It takes everything.”
“Yeah, it does, but it’s so worth it in the end.”
Man.
I believe in freedom
The redemption of the needy
The curing of diseases
The hope of a new sunrise
The rise of a strong generation
A brighter hope, a bigger love, and an enduring power
But I don’t believe in the prevalence of death
In bloody wars, orphan’s cries, and the cause of a widow’s tears
I believe in unity
I believe in pushing against the current
I believe in the rise of an eternal king
In honesty, kindness, and faithfulness
And I believe in Jesus Christ
