I am horrible at dealing with death. It’s hard to wrap your mind around not seeing someone again.
This girl was in my youth group. She was really shy and had curly hair. Man, she was only 15 years old. What an awful situation for her family. It’s times like these that I just pray for comfort for those involved.

Food.
I want to learn how to cook.
Is there, like, essential information that you need to know? What are the basics? ‘Cause I have taught myself how to do a lot, but it seems like there is always a starting point. Like, with guitar there are basic chords to start with.
So, what is the starting point? Any self-taught cooks want to give me some pointers?

Thirty.
Tomorrow, starting at 7AM, I will be participating in 30 Hour Famine. It’s a social justice event that serves to raise awareness and money towards world hunger.

About two months ago, my cat, Buddy, went missing for over two weeks. When he first returned home, he was really thin and pretty sick. It took him a little while to get back to “normal”.

I have a nice sunburn on my face. There is even an outline of lighter skin where my hair hangs over my forehead.
